Senator Andrew Jones represents District 10 in the Alabama Senate, which includes Etowah, Cherokee, and Southern DeKalb counties, and serves as the chairman of the Children, Youth, and Human Services Committee. Jones was elected to the Senate in 2018 in his first run for public office.
He is the founder and owner of Deep South Coffee Factory, a craft coffee roasting company. Andrew is also a fourth-generation cattle farmer and shareholder in Paul Jennings Farms, Inc., which is named after his late grandfather.
He holds a Masters in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a B.A. from Berea College in Kentucky. Prior to his political career, Jones spent several years working in South Korea and later Japan as part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.
Senator Jones and his wife, Summer, reside in Centre and are members of Centre First Baptist Church, where he serves as pianist.
